What is the "Flipped Classroom?" The basic premise of the flipped classroom deals with inverting the traditional approach to teaching and learning. Rather than the teacher standing at the front of the room lecturing and then quizzing students to see if they understood the concepts, the flipped classroom provides students with the information to look over on their own time and time with the teacher is spent providing more personalized assistance on assignments, projects, etc.
